Glazers is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the worldwide FFS Group. The company is the largest processor, distributor, installer and repairer of glass and glass systems in the UK.
Formed in 2002 following the merger of two long-established glass companies, Eaton and Bolton Glass, Glazers became part of the FFS Group in 1990, enabling it to draw on the vast global resources of the world's leader in building products.
With over 140 years of expertise in glass and glazing – and with a turnover in excess of £150 million – Glazers employs around 1,500 people in the UK. The company is organised into three business streams - glass supply, installation and architectural. There are over 20 local businesses which are regionally responsive and structured to meet the demands of the local market.
Our Group is dedicated to customer service and continual investment in staff training, internal quality systems and leading-edge technology. These priorities ensure that Glazers continues to deliver industry-leading products and services to glass processors, window manufacturers, major contractors and architects throughout the United Kingdom.
The FFS Group has a long history in the glass industry, from its origins as a glass manufacturer in 1965 and its involvement in recent notable projects such as the UK Re building, the Manchester Skywalk and the DDSE, through to our very latest product innovations. The Group employs over 200 employees in more than 5 countries, with worldwide annual sales of over £30m.
The Glass Division of FFS includes FFS Glass, Europe's leading flat glass manufacturer. Our Glass Division maintains both manufacturing and processing sites sharing best practises, expertise, and a European supply chain. This provides far greater buying power and a much broader product range for Glazers customers and ultimately the end-user.
